THE HERITAGE ATLAS: PASSAGES OF STONE, JOHANNESBURG, 2021
The result of an experimental collaborative effort by Sarah de Villiers, Hashim Tarmohamed and Craig McClenaghan, ‘Passages of Rock’ is a narrative atlas which chronicles the journeys, conversations and implications associated with a collection of engraved rocks that were removed from the ancient landscapes of their origin in the 1960’s to their current place of rest at the University of the Witwatersrand’s Origins Centre.
